When Dogs Heal is a project of Fred Says, a 501c3 providing financial support for the healthcare needs of HIV+ teens.
There has arguably been no more important time to donate to an HIV/AIDS charity than now. Despite advances in treatment and prevention, we are still seeing around 50,000 new infections in the United States a year with over 12,000 being young people. And, now, with the greater push for earlier testing and treatment—key to reversing HIV infection rates—the need for sustained donor support has never been greater.

The mission of Fred Says is to create a self-sustaining charity that ensures that all HIV+ teenagers receive the care and services they need to lead healthy and productive lives. Fred Says seeks to reduce the stigma associated with HIV that makes it difficult for young HIV+ people to access the care they deserve and to focus on their health and emotional well-being.
Fred Says achieves these goals through the creative use of social media and tax-deductible charitable donations.
